Every time Jamis' competitors think they've caught up, Jamis improves the XAM. Again. With 150mm (6) of rear wheel travel and a Fox DHX Air 5.0 rear shock, these frames build up into the all-mountain machines that just devour all kinds of terrain.
- Jamis MP3 suspension design with 150mm travel
- 2.63:1 wheel travel to shock stroke ratio enhances rear shock performance and longevity
- Active suspension design stays plush over bumps while you pedal, but won't sap your energy on the climbs
- Built with long-lasting oversize pivots, beefed-up bell crank, 10mm shock hardware, and bearings
- 8.48 lbs (size 17)
To turn the XAM 2.0 frame into a complete bike, you'll need:
- 68mm English threaded bottom bracket
- Accepts 1 1/8 headset (an FSA ACB headset is included)
- 31.6mm seatpost (includes a clamp)
- High clamp style, top pull cable orientation front derailleur
- Rear disc brake built to the common 51mm IS standard
